Dr. Khalid Hussain is an internationally recognized researcher in pediatric endocrinology and metabolic genetics, with a sustained focus on the molecular mechanisms of hypoglycemia, congenital hyperinsulinism, monogenic diabetes, and childhood obesity. His research integrates clinical phenotyping with advanced genomic, functional, and translational approaches to elucidate genotype–phenotype relationships in rare endocrine and metabolic disorders.
