Dr. Hamid Madanchi, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the Semnan University of Medical Sciences and an active researcher at the Pasteur Institute of Iran. His multidisciplinary research integrates pharmaceutical biotechnology, bioinformatics, immunoinformatics, and peptide-based drug design to develop novel therapeutics and vaccines. With extensive expertise in molecular cloning, protein engineering, computational biology, and antimicrobial peptide synthesis, Dr. Madanchi’s work focuses on the discovery and rational design of bioactive peptides with anticancer, antimicrobial, and antiviral properties. His recent investigations include the development of SARS-CoV-2 fusion inhibitors, multi-epitope vaccines against emerging pathogens, and nanobiocomposite scaffolds for biomedical applications. Dr. Madanchi has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals such as Journal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics, Scientific Reports, Probiotics and Antimicrobial Proteins, and BMC Bioinformatics.
